The monument to Sinan, the world famous Turkish architect, lived from 1490 to 1588. There are many buildings in Edirne built by Mimar Sinan: turkish baths, Rüstem Paşa Kervansarayı, Ali Paşa Kapalı Çarşısı, Yalnızgöz and Saray bridges. The monument is located in front of Selimiye Mosque, Sinan’s masterpiece at the age of 80. |
