Hi all,
I have changed my flight after reading on various websites and other travellers experiences about the difficulties and problems you can have when having to make a connecting flight. Over the past few weeks I have been on the B.A. Heathrow flight departures and to my astonishment but not surprise 9 out of 10 departures are on average half an hour late, of course with airlines you can never estimate exactly the time of departure I of course appreciate this. I had a flight booked to Istanbul which had a connection in Zurich with only one hour to get to next plane, take the half an hour off and the taxing in on the runway and your hour is gone easy.

Hi love prague,
I agree with you.Having to stress about getting a connecting flight is enough. Not to mention the worry about luggage making it to your final destination also.In my experience airports are a stressful place to be anyway without the added hassle of connecting flights.I only book and travel on direct flights for that reason.

I look at it this way - time versus cost! Give me a direct flight any day!

No troubles with a change! If, by their fault, you miss your connection they have to give you another flight and/or pay for hotel, food etc. You even can ask for money because of 'damage'. That is a EU-law! I never mind about changes and transfers. More important are arrivals and departure times and of corse price.
