Ayrılık diye bir şey yok.
Bu bizim yalanımız.
Sevmek var aslında, özlemek var, beklemek var.
Şimdi neredesin? Ne yapıyorsun?

There is nothing called seperation
This is ours lie
There is loving indeed, yearning, waiting.
Where are you now? What are you doing?

Güneş çoktan doğdu.
Uyanmış olmalısın.
Saçlarını tararken beni hatırladın, değil mi?
Öyleyse ayrılmadık.
Sadece özlemliyiz ve bekliyoruz.

The sun already rised.
You must have woken up.
You remembered me when you comb your hair, didnt you?
So we didnt get seperated.
We are only filled with longing and waiting

Zamanı hatırlatan her şeyden nefret ediyorum.
Önce beklemekten.
Ömür boyunca ya bekliyor ya bekletiyor insan.
İkisi de kötü, ikisi de hazin tarafı yaşantımızın.

I hate everything that reminds me time
At first from waiting
During his lifetime, a human is either waiting or making somebody wait
Both are wicked, both are the pathetic part of our lives.

Bir çocuğun önce doğmasını bekliyorlar,
Sonra yürümesini, konuşmasını, büyümesini...
Zaman ilerliyor, bu defa para kazanmasını,
Kanunlara saygı göstermesini,
İnsanları sevmesini, aldanmasını, aldatmasını bekliyorlar.

First they wait a child to be born,
And then his walking, speaking, and growing old...
Time is passing by, now they wait for him to earn money,
His respecting to the laws
His loving people, his getting cheated, and his cheating, they are waiting

Ve sonra ölümü bekleniyor insanoğlunun.
Ya o? Ya o?
İnsanlardan dostluk bekliyor, sevgilisinden sadakat,
Çocuklarından saygı ve bir parça huzur bekliyor,
Saadet bekliyor yaşamaktan.

And then death of the humanbeing is waited
What about him? What about him?
He is waiting friendship form humans, faithfulness from his lover,
respect from his children and a little peace, he is waiting,
Happiness he is waiting from his life

Zaman ilerliyor, bir gün o da ölümü bekliyor artık.
Aradıklarının çoğunu bulamamış,
Beklediklerinin çoğu gelmemiş bir insan olarak
Göçüp gidiyor bu dünyadan.

Time is passing by, and one he is also waiting for the death now.
He couldnt find the most of the things he was searching for.
As a human, the things he was waiting hadnt come,
He is passing away from this earth.

İşte yaşamak maceramız bu.
Yaşarken beklemek, beklerken yaşamak
Ve yaşayıp beklerken ölmek!

See! our adventure of living is this.
To wait while living, to live while waiting.
And to die while both living and waiting.

Özleme bir diyeceğim yok.
O kömür kırıntıları arasında parlayan bir cam parçası.
O nefes alışı sevgimizin, kavuşmalarımızın anlamı.
O tek güzel yönü bekleyişlerimizin.

I have nothing to say about yearning
That is a glass praticle that shines between coal particles
That is the breathing of our love, the meaning of meetings
That is the only beautiful side of our waitings

İnsanlığımız özleyişlerimizle alımlı,
Yaşantımız özlemlerle güzel.
Özlemin buruk bir tadı var, hele seni özlemenin.
Bir kokusu var bütün çiçeklere değişmem.
Bir ışığı var, bir rengi var seni özlemenin, anlatılmaz.

Our humanity is attractive with our yearnings
Our lives are bueatiful with longings
Missing has bitter taste, especially missing you.
Missing you has a smell that i dont change to all flowers
a light, a color missing you has, it cant be described

Verdiğin bütün acılara dayanıyorsam;
Seni özlediğim içindir.
Beklemenin korkunç zehri öldürmüyorsa beni;
Seni özlediğim içindir.
Yaşıyorsam; içimde umut varsa,
Yine seni özlediğim içindir.

If i dare to all sorrows you give;
That is because i miss you.
If the dreadful poison of waiting is not killing me;
That is because i miss you.
If i survive; still have hope inside of me,
Again, that is because i miss you.

Seni bunca özlemesem; bunca sevemezdim ki!

If i dont miss you this much; i couldnt love you this much!

what is it you try to forget Sui? Hold on to your memories but move forward into the New Year - God Bless You

Sui your poems made me think and feel sad too. I thought " Oh, i hope he(you) is ok". Glad everything's fine.

i was wondering what (mihrabım) stand for

SUI...trying to follow from the previous ...I wonder what is the interpretation or meaning of this stanza...?

in that poem...
the poet is talking about making love with her ghost or soul everynight. as she says "no" to him everytime.
at the last stanza, he says that
"see you are again mine tonight
to get rid of from this say yes to me"
