Its my first time: I have a Turkish sweetheart that i met in August. He wants me to go see him but av never done this sort of thing before and av only flown once in my life. Av read all these threads about Turkish lovers, some are good, some are bad. We do have a good connection and i do trust him.

Did anybody feel a similar way the first time they met their Turkish sweethearts, or could you not wait to jump on a plain and get back to Turkey?

Please help me anyone. Is it only me that felt this way.

xx :-S

Hi
I first met my girlfriend over 17 months ago firstly it was a long communication before we actually met, the first time I took a friend with me when I first met her at Ataturk airport, I was a little nervous we had a great communication before which really helped I think it was nearly a year before we actually met in the flesh and the moment I met her for the first time it was love and it went on from there to strength it is now. I am now going on my third visit this December and I am very happy we both have such a great feeling about everything. My advice only is good luck and let us all know how you get on.

Thanks you guys. We do have good communication, will be even better when i learn a bit of Turkish!!

I think am just going to go and see him after christmas. I was going to bring a friend but i dont want her to be left out. When i was there in August we spent the last couple couple of days together. He called in sick from work and it was just me and him, and i didnt see my friends much. I think once i see him again, everything will be fine.

I hope everything will be good, if not, i will just enjoy Turkey.

xx

That's the spirit sweet kane. I have known my boyfriend for about 1 1/2 years now. I first met him here in the U.S. and when he left, he had invited me to visit him in Turkey. I never traveled alone, but I missed him and felt a connection with him I haven't felt with anyone else. I also trusted him. So I visited and had the best time of my life. He was so gracious and was a wonderful tour guide. I also met his family and they couldn't have been kinder.

I am leaving in 7 days for my 3rd trip to Turkey, and I can't wait!!

No matter what, like you said, just enjoy this beautiful country!!!

Best Wishes,
Wendy (lovebug)

mine wasnt a holiday romance, i met mine whilst he was working in the town where i lived in the UK and our relationship built up like anyone dating meeting up to go out and we got to know each other slowly. monday i fly out to spend 3 weeks with him and getting married at the end of next week so hopefully after the initial stages of seperation whilst the visa is being processed there will be no more seperations

Kind regards
Jackie
