i have been in turkiye in feb and it is very cold in the evenings yes so coat weather, also there is still snow on the mountains, and in my opinion its safe as anywhere these days, just be aware of large men or women with big coats and pack backs

Hi Kati

Yup it will be cold especially at night.. Marmaris is a very very different place in winter than in summer but still a great place in my opinion.

£220 is not bad, you could probably get it slightly cheaper but at that time of year you are probably more limited to flights, I am watching for flights at the moment for the end on Jan or early feb...

Have a great time !

Go to www.skyscanner.net, flights from London to Dalaman on 19/02 - 26/02 is just £111.46 with flythomascook!

If you could find cheap accomodation then you could save a bit!

Just another thought too - EasyJet now fly to Istanbul for silly prices like £30. A connecting flight should only cost about 60YTL (£25) so if you don't mind connecting that could be even better.

Flying to Turkey frequently has taught me to tighten the purse strings ;o)

Hope i learn to tighten the purse strings quick otherwise this could cost me a fortune. The worse thing is, i live way up in Scotland and its not so cheap up here.
