I think cheap flight is not so easy (available) in new year Term, since this is our bayram (Sacrifice>holy days in all islamic world).
it is easy to find cheap flight from Germany. for example
germanwings or pegasus, atlas, or onur airways.
look at flypgs.com
Turkish or british airways are always expensive

Hi check www.Holidays4U, we are flying from Manchester on the 2nd January to Bodrum, but i know they also do flights direct from London........... Hope you get lucky

ive always flown Turkish airlines but i have to say british airways have knocked pounds off their prices, ive been looking for january and so far BA cannot be beaten thats from Heathrow to Istanbul. BA have an offer on at the moment if you book between 10th - 23rd jan but even so ive found a single flight is £68 with BA and turkish airlines wanted £300 and something and thats a one way ticket !!
prices are said to rocket this year because of the compulsive fuel taxes and there will be very few cheap fares in the future ,im wonering if TK have put the tax on already where as BA haven't

what i forgot to say is for a round trip BA are offering £117 and TK are offering the same price for £500 !! where as i usally find TK are the cheapest
