YAĞDIKÇA...
As It Rains...

Yerle yeksan, ıslak saçlı, kem gözlü,
Kavim göçlerinden bu yana ağlayan
Ve durmadan
Cep kanyağı yakıcılığında ezgiler
Çalan, çaldıran, yakalatan
Adı bende gizli bir kadındı İstanbul

Almost combined with the floor, wet haired, evil eyed
Crying since the tribes immigration
And without a stop
Melodies like burning of a cognac
plays, makes you play, makes you catch
Was a woman Istanbul, her name is secret in me

Şehre bir yağmur yağdı
Ben ağladım

It rained to the city
I cried

Sevilirken ayrılmak mı kaldı Bizanstan
Yalan dolan yoktu gözlerde sadece ses
Verilen sözler birdi edilen yeminler sıfır
Eşyalar alındı fotoğraflar söküldü
yerlerinden
Bir aşkın izlerini yok edecek yeni bir aşk
sipariş edildi yeniden

Getting seperated while you love remained from Byzantium?
There was no lie in the eyes, only sound
The promises given was one, the swears said zero
The things gathered, the photos were ripped out from their places
a new love, which will erase the traces of love
ordered again

Bir şehre yağmur yağdı
Ben ağladım

It rained to a city
I cried

Kim daha çok yalan söndürdü çay
bardaklarında
Hangisi talandı demli öpücüklerin
Ve buğularda yitirilen kimin adıydı
Bir aşktan diğerine kaç saate gidiliyordu
Soyulur muydu kabuğu hayatın
Yoksa bütün vitamini kabuğunda mıydı?

Who put out much lies in tea glasses
Which of those bloody kisses were pillaged
And whose name it was lost on the vapors
How many hours it was taking from a love to another
Does cover of life can be taken?
Or all the vitamin of its was on the cover?

Yağmur şehre bir yağdı
Ben ağladım

How it rained to the city
I cried

Ben ençok seni götürdüm giderken
Aklımın nakliyesiydi asıl yoran taşıyıcıları
Yardan düşmüştüm yaralarım yardan armağandı
Ben sevmeyi beceremedim belki de sevilmeyi
Benim sevmeye engel evcil acılarım vardı

The most i took you while going
It was the moving of my mind which was really tiring the carriers
I had fallen from the beloved, my scars were a present from the beloved
I couldnt manage to love, maybe to be loved
I had domestic sorrows block to love

Ben yağmur ağladım bir şehre yağdı
Ben şehre ağladım bir yağmur yağdı
Ben bir ağladım şehre yağmur yağdı

I cried a rain, rained to a city
I cried to the city, rain rained
I once cried, rain rained to the city

Ben...
Yağmur...
Ağladım...

I...
Rain...
Cried...
