How about "şey"? This is my favourite! I think "şey" is a joker word since it is used instead of almost all words. In addition to this, by "şey" you, according to the context, can refer to:

* an expression
* an idiom
* a sentence
* a thought
* an idea
* a situation

as most native speakers do! Şey, without doubt, is the most useful word in Turkish. You can also use "şey falan"!

hehe yah.. i say that all the time too... ..

i really love all the words which turkish have, and english dont too... i cant think of any right now though! i really know loads of them but they are not coming to me..!! this brain of mine isnt functioning now!!! offf

i have two favourite words at the moment ahududu and dilliduduk the first makes my three sons fall about the place and the other its my new word of the week and at any moment i may just say it and i wonder why i get strange looks from passer bys :-S
