Personally I don't like this mix. I don't think it justifies what turkish music has to offer. Say I wanted to introduce someone to turkish music and gave them this cd; I don't think they would understand the essence of it.
And what's with the spanish talking?

azade, I agree with you. I don't much like this mix either.
It's too much influenced by 'world music' trends. I much prefer contemporary Turkish singers who reflect traditional sanat and halk styles. But, there it is.
