Hello everyone,
I am a new comer here. And I like this website so much. Now would you please do me a favor to answer me some questions?
I wonder:which university in Tukey is suitable for an international student? Now I will say a little more specific:I am a university student now.I major in English.I plan to be a postgraduate in Turkey when I finish my University. But I don't know which University should I choose.
So please recommend me some Universities you think are suitable for my major.I want to keep learning English and be a translator or interpreter in the future.
By the way,are Chinese people be welcomed in Turkey?(sorry,I mean is there any discrimination?)Is there many people in Turkey learn Chinese?
Thank you so much!&Best wishes!

There isn't any discrimination in Turkey. People from any country can see our hospitality and welcome. But before you ask such a question to us, you should see the disrimination towards Uygur Turks in Sinkiang (Sincan) in China.
Anyway, you can get the information about Turkish Universities in this page:

Universities in Ankara,Istanbul, and Izmir are the best of Turkey, but as you know your branch is very important, some universities from the other cities may be famous with their some branches.
You wrote that you want to study language. The best university in language education is Ankara University, but I was graduated form Anadolu University, English Language Teaching Department and I'm very very glad to be educated there. It's level of education is quite well.Anadolu University is in Eskişehir that is one of the most beatiful cities of Middle Anatolia.Relationships are very close.Attitudes of people towards students are very lovely.
I recommend you there, but not for being my own university, believe me I'm honest

好久不見 !

There is a Chinese Language department in Ankara University as well as many other languages.
Maybe 1 or 2 more universities present in İstanbul and İzmir
with Chinese and English classes, I don't have much info though.
But if you want to study English in Turkey and also want to see some Chinese speaking people around, İstanbul would be the best place.

Its name is Sinoloji. As far as I know, there is Chinese Language Department just in two universities in Turkey. One is in Ankara, and the other is in Kayseri.

I know it is a bit weird, because there is not in İstanbul and İzmir.
