Hi
this is my translation for this song i hope its right
this is song text:
Döndüm daldan kopan kuru yaprağa
Leylim ley
Seher yeli dağıt beni, kır beni
Leylim ley
Götür tozlarımı buradan uzağa
Leylim ley
Yarin çıplak ayanına sür beni
Leylim leyleylim leyleylim ley
Ayın şavkı vurur sazım üstüne
Leylim ley
Söz söyleyen yoktur sözüm üstüne
Leylim ley
Gel ey hilal kaşlım dizim üstüne
Leylim ley
Ay bir yandan sen bir yandan sar beni
Leylim leyleylim leyleylim ley
Yedi yıldır uğramadım yurduma
Leylim ley
Dert ortağı aramadım derdime
Leylim ley
Geleceksen bir gün düşÃ¼p ardıma
Leylim ley
Kula değil yüreğine sor beni
Leylim ley
Leylim leyleylim leyleylim ley

translation :
From thinking my life was turned from spring to Autumn
spend my nights Awake destroy me and break me
take my fragments away from here
For meet my love carry me
The longing of the moon is illuminate on me comeback
No one have opinion upon my opinion
A some day will coming you will kneeling to me
the moon from a side and you from other side hug me
seven years and am don’t arrived to my hope
inspire my partner and i don’t care
Some day will coming you will kneeling to me
my heart is melting ask about me.

Hello everyone.
I wonder if anyone feels like translating this song for me? I saw the video in Turkey recently and I cried throughout the video, I'd love to know if the words to the song are as sad as the video.

Thanks in advance!
Ask i kiyamet - Emre Altug

aşkını yazmış duvarlara kağıtlara
Ben seni sardım sakladım yarınlara
Beklerim günüm gelecektir nihayet
Sonu yok bunun bu aşk-ı kıyamet
Yar elinden ölüm olacak benim sonum
Sonu yok bunun bu aşk-ı kıyamet
Sen ister al ister yere vur
Sana hasret gönül sana kul
Bak haykırışlarım hiç bitmiyor
Sen olmasan da sensiz olmuyor

Lyndie, I tried to translate the song. I hope translation helps you understand the song a bit.

The Love of Doomsday

He/she has written his/her love to the walls and papers
I surrounded and kept you to/for tomorrows.
I am waiting for my day to come
Finally it will come somehow.
This is eternal.
This is the love of doomsday.
My life will be ended by lover
This is eternal.
This is the love of doomsday
Either hold or throw
My heart adores and longs for you
Look at!
My shouting is endless.
Even though you are not here,
Your absence is not acceptable.

Thanks very much Erdem. Your translation is very helpful. Have you seen the video?

It is about an old man, who gets up in the morning, makes 2 breakfasts, gets out his wife's clothes, pushes her dress out in a wheelchair and spends the day talking to her and looking after her. Sadly she is not really there and then when he goes to get ready for bed he suddenly realises that she is gone and he holds her nightgown to his face and cries. It is desperately sad.

i like very much the way Turkish people care for their old people. The respect and love is not given to old people in this country. In England, no self respecting pop star would make a song about an old couple. In England we tend to treat our old people as if they are not even there. People put them into homes and forget about them. It is awful. I like this about Turkish culture very much.

Thanks again Erdem.
Tesekkurer ederim.

Lyndie.
