That's the title of a travel book by Tom Brosnahan I just read. It is funny, full of anecdotes, and filled with cultural and historical information. Tom writes in a way you almost can feel you are with him, experiencing the same things - at least I did. It covers his trips from 1967 until 2001, from being a member of the (not existing anymore) Peace Corps to the professional travel writer he is now.

If you want to read excerpts of his book, go to: http://www.turkeytravelplanner.com/bsst/index.html

On that same page you can order it, with a personal inscription if you like.

ISBN 0-9767531-0-3

That's great Trudy - thank you! It's just the kind of travelog that I love to read. Will buy it now and add it to my HUGE pile of books waiting to be read!
