Is it from bakmak with the meaning of "I don't know"? |
If you mean: "bakım" (undotted I)Turkishdict....net says:
1. care, attention, upkeep.
2. viewpoint, point of view.
3. glance, look
Its a noun, I assume related to the verb

bakim is the short talking style of bakayım.
It means 'to try' if it follows a verb.
Buraya gel bakiim. --> Try to come here.
Or in detail 'let me see if you can come here.'
Yap bakiim. --> Try to do it.

''Beyaz şarabı yeğlerim'' would sound better in Turkish.Generally.
But you can say beyaz şarabı yeğliyorum if you just prefer it for this time.
