Budget?

On another forum I saw discussions about the budget you need when travelling through Turkey (so not the package deal travels). Amounts for a low budget vacation were between 20 US dollar up to 45 US dollar a day - including accommodation, food, drinks, entrance prices, travel costs by bus etc. I think that the first amount is absolutely not possible and the last still very budget. What do you think? What do you plan for your expenses, average?

It's a tough one, what kind of food you eat and how much you travel can change the amount drastically. I mean, you can live off döners for several days for the price of just one meal at a fancy restaurant. Prices vary in the regions as well, like anything from 50 kuruş to 3 ytl for a glass of tea.
I really have no idea as to what a reasonable amount would be. In a place like Ankara we have probably spent about 100 ytl in a single day, where as we lived in Alanya for a week for the same amount.
