Mr. Gül has retreated himself from further elections, Dutch news said. Today there was another vote in parliament and again there were not enough people present to make the voting valid because the opposition did not show up.
What will AK do now? And what consequences does it have for possible direct president elections?
Anyone?

I know that presidential elections now are made by parliament. But it was Mr. Erdogan who said that he wanted them change into public elections, wasn't he? That's what I mean.

There will be parliament elections on 22nd of july. They need to make a new change of constitution to select president by public and they will do that but i think President Ahmet Necdet Sezer wont approve of this change and most possibly there will be referendum and parliament elections on 22nd of July.
