If anyone know anybody who would like to rent the room, I would appriciate the information I would prefer some Turkish family, so I could practice my turkish I'm only a beginer but I'm willing to lern.

Cok tesekkur ederim,

Have a look on the following websites, I found them very interesting. I found a place through Craigslist.

http://www.expatriates.com/classifieds/trk/rma/

http://istanbul.craigslist.org/roo/

You can e-mail with the people who offer rooms, don't hesitate to ask them questions about and ask for pictures of the place. NEVER pay anything in advance.
You might have to look a bit since a lot of people look for people staying at least one month. Still it's definitely more than worth the try.

Good luck!

Forgot to put the following, it might come in handy as well:

"Furthermore if you don't find something before your arrival, look for ads at French Consulate, German Bookstore, Goethe-Institute, Cervantes (all in Istiklal
Caddesi) and very good as well: dilmer language school (Gümüssuyu, near Taksim)."

What do you mean by "not giving any contact" exactly? I inquired for information a while ago, and they mailed me all the info I needed.
I know Dilmer, haven't attended but I've heard good things about the school. There is someone on this site going to Dilmer this summer (if I remember correctly), can't remember who it is though

I will go to Tömer though. We'll compare our experiences afterwards

Hi Elisa,

Sorry for the confusion, I ment that they are not giving addresses to people who have room to rent. I've heard ab Dilmer too, a good opinion. On the begining I wanted to go to Izmir to Tomer but as far as i know they have only courses 3 times a week and Dilmer has every day.
When you are exctly going to Tomer?
