If in Turkey but your booze early, and dont carry a gun

Just a quick reminder for foreigners in Turkey .. the election rules are in force again this Sunday. That means you won't be able to buy a drink anywhere, and cant buy alcohol from a shop or supermarket. (If you're planning a birthday party Sunday, buy stock in on Sat

Dont expect exit polls on the TV at 4 pm or so, results programs are banned until the evening.

Also even if you have a licence it is illegal to carry a gun on Sun unless you are a policeman or have some other good excuse...!

Yea, I went to Şok tonight and they had a sign up warning or reminding shoppers to buy their wine before Sunday! They don't sell weapons there! Great reminder-Marion!
