Dear respective Turkish learners,
I plan on going to one of the Sezen Aksu concerts in Turkey in August, 2007. I was wondering if you would like to company me at a Sezen Aksu Concert. I could help you with the translation from Turkish to English.

well, I have always felt bus is the best transpostation in Turkey. but if more demands arise then I may have to start thinking about going to Sezen's concert from Ankara by car with additional passengers.. If we are talking about international flights here, then it would be an interesting expedition for SEZEN lovers.

I advise to go if you have the chance. I went to her concert in ÇEŞME Açık hava tiyatrosu, and it was AMAZING. Her voice is still SO powerful and she sang (nearly) all my favourites: Gidiyorum, Şinanay, İstanbul olalı, Keskin Bıçak (!!). It was really a lifetime experience for me. I was even on television for 5 minutes 
No seriously, if you have the chance, TAKE İT.
(Bu arada if the concert in İzmir is in the location of the Uluslararası Fuarı.. then think twice before you pay the highest price of tickets. I heard that in the Fuar there are no seats, the place is small and the acoustics are bad.)

Thanks Deli_kizin for the info. Perhaps we should start thinking about SEZEN AKSU concerts in Bursa, Denizli or Antalya..

Are the concerts in Bodrum sold out? (There were some in August if İ remember well).

As far as I know she is not performing in Bodrum this year.
Sezen's performance at the antique theater in Bodrum would be my first choice though.

She does perform there I just checked Biletix.com. She is there in 4 days on the 4th of August. Maybe a bit short time though.
