Traditionally we are expected to eat three times a day, which is widely accepted and carried out by people, and I am most of the time one of the followers of this tradition; when it comes to breakfast, however, I see no limitations- you say "breakfast"? Breakfast is always welcome any time, anywhere, in any form, with any content and at any number a day!

* * *

Sometimes I can't help thinking that we are born for having breakfast! In those moments it seems to me that breakfast is the reason of our existence.

* * *

One who doesn't like breakfast or hasn't breakfast -is this possible?- at all is the one to be stayed away from!

* * *

Happy is one who would prefer their breakfast in a countryside garden among flowers and trees, in the presence of the sun beams in the morning!

To me, a breakfast is a breakfast with tea. I can't imagine any breakfast without tea. A breakfast without tea is like a human being without legs and arms, like a bird without wings, like a sky without blue. How about coffee?- one might ask now- Breakfast with coffee instead of tea? Only once have I tried so far a breakfast with coffee, and that experience was terrible. If not with tea, thus will I say, let no breakfast be at all!

Yeah, it's possible! Not a fan of breakfast...can't stomach eggs, coffee or tea. I have only recently started eating anything at all for breakfast and it is usually oatmeal or a protien bar and some fruit.
Difficult to do though.

If I were a novelist, I would write a breakfast novel; if a painter, I would paint a breakfast painting; if a musician, I would compose a breakfast symphony; if a sculptor, I would sculpt a breakfast statue.

Breakfast one of the very few things to which I never ever say "NO!" in all conditions. As long as it is breakfast in question, I am all, from head to toe, a "YES!".

This might be the only issue that I disagree with Ataturk on. Ataturk never ate breakfast. Personally, I think maybe he was too hung over to eat....

Perfect breakfast for me:

tea, (not bag)
white cheese
fresh bread
strawberry jam, fresh
breakfast salad (tomatoes, cucumbers, parsley, mint, olive oil and lemon juice)
on occasion sucuk

I normally love breakfasts, that's what I usually wake up for! However, lately... I'm out of ideas of what I can eat and I don't have a taste for anything, so no breakfast till I can handle it .

Just a thought - what would a "formal" breakfast be?

The sort you have at a posh business type hotel, where you help yourself, and no-one talks to anyone else and the crisp white napkins are the size of a bed sheet!!

I don't typically eat breakfast, but when I travel I do. Here are just a few things I like to order;

Western Omelette
Bacon
Hashbrowns
Toast
Coffee

I sometimes eat oatmeal for dinner, very filling. I also love stuffed french toast too!

Awwwww I hope you are not using this as an excuse to express your anti-Muslim ideas! lol

Well in all seriousness, I have such mixed views on some things (such as immigration) that I find it very hard to be consistent in my posts!!!

For example, my conscience tells me that we have no right to prevent anyone in the world living wherever they want to. My conscience makes it hard for me to discriminate against people just because of their race and religion. I try to fight this even harder lately, because the UK is becoming very racist (just check the comments on YouTube after the "UK Soldier" link.

However....I also see what is happening to this country. I see people coming here to live a lazy life paid with benefits that some of us work hard to pay (in taxes). I see people living only among their own kind and calling us "evil". I see a huge rise in crimes committed by immigrants. I see "positive" discrimination in our government towards these people.

Maybe this is why you just cannot have a "reasonable conversation" with me these days!!!

Believing that Bush and the conservative republicans have blanket ownership of moral values.

I don't cheer on anti-Muslim posts. You are so brainwashed with your british media. You can't say anything negative about a religion any more, because it's "anti-muslim"! Yes, I do criticize muslim radicalism! I'm also disappointed that it has to do with a religion! Learn the distinction!

But its still so shocking to see all the stupid americans that blindly support him. All the senseless deaths over the last 6 years. For what? And then these same morons have the gaul to criticize Clinton about cheating on his wife. Do I need to create a thread about the deviant behavior of Republicans?
Again, these stupid people listen to talk radio ll day and get brain-washed by idiots like Hannity, like Rush and they believe every f@#$%^&# word that these guys say. They don't have brains to think on their own. So they believe these liars and all the BS evil they spew. Its no different than my German people in the 20's and 30's buying into all the crap the goerring was spewing. And the people that knew it was crap then were too cowardly to speak out. What Went Wrong In Ohio

Book Description
This fascinating and disturbing book is the official record of testimony taken by the Democratic Members and Staff of the House Judiciary Committee, presided over by Rep. John Conyers of Michigan, the Ranking Member. Originally published in January, 2005 by the Government Printing Office, it has been edited and re-designed for maximum readability. Both a riveting and alarming report on the status of our ailing presidential election process, this book provides new insights into the abuse and manipulation of electronic voting machines and the arbitrary and illegal behavior of a number of elected and election officials which effectively disenfranchised tens of thousands of voters in order to change the outcome of an election. The material in this report should be used as a guidebook to fixing our federal elections.

Dear Femme
Hating to disappoint but my comment about YOU did not mean that my whole post was about you. I was merely using your comments as an example of the "freedom of speech" this website allows

I agree we should have freedom of speech. However, Catwoman seems to think we should ONLY have freedom of speech provided we do not criticise USA

The first thing I have for breakfast is very stong sugarless green tea and a cigarette....then later cheese, olives and bread and coffee with sugar....and maybe some type of jam or Marmelade.

Tea,
One, I never attacked you personally
Two, I attacked your views and lack of education, historical knowlege and political awareness
Three, I am a Roman Catholic Christian, so your holier than though nonsense can be wasted on others, not me.
Four, I asked simple questions that you are unable to answer so you ignored them and attacked me instead.

To be clear, this is just a couple of items you said that gives the USA a bad name abroad.

"Clinton should have finished what he started in Iraq."
Bill Clinton was the governor of arkansas when george bush invaded iraq and wisely decided not to overthrow saddam or occupy baghdad.

You agreed with a statement that muslim countries need to be conquered and that their citizens need to be forcefully converted to christianity.
This is typical, selfish, my way or the highway american views.

Don't apologize to me. You should be apologizing to our muslim friends at this site and also to your high school civics teacher...

2.Lack of education? Typical comment when someone doesn't share the same views as you. I wonder just what your education is.

3.Roman Catholic? Obviously not a practicing one!

4.I answered your questions and too bad YOUR focus was on blowjobs. As far as all Muslims being converted into Christianity. I think Femme was correct in her previous posts. You enjoy blowing things out of proportion and stirring the pot. Yes, let's take things literally here.

I have been at this site long enough to know that you are the worst critique of America here. So do us all a favor and stay in Turkey, Minnesota would be much better off.

The best way to end that threat once and for all is with a new Iraqi government -- a government ready to live in peace with its neighbors, a government that respects the rights of its people," Clinton said.

Maybe your too young to remember, so i'll give you the benefit of the doubt.

The first gulf war was from 1990-1991. George Herbert Walker Bush was America's President. (And a good President in my opionion.) During Bill Clinton's Presidency, the US enforced the no-fly zone established by Bush and Powell.
So if in your opinion it was Bill Clinton's obligation to finish something, it would have been to finish what the first Bush started. This was a popular belief in America at the time but I 100% supported President Bush and Colin Powell's decision to not overthrow the Iraqi government.

I agree, clinton did not accomplish anything in Iraq. But he did not start it as you stated he did. This is where what you say loses all credibility.

Additionally, its obvious that not only has nothing been accomplished in Iraq under "GW"'s presidency, it has gotten exponentially worse.

Thanks for looking that up in a text book, L. I happen to remember the gulf war and also remember Clinton ordering our troops to bomb Iraq. What did he accomplish by his attacks? Please answer this as you seem to skirt around the topic and wanting to discuss father & son. I thought this was about Mr.Bill? Are you saying Clinton's attack on Iraq were just and the outcome good? I agree that we needed to help the Iraqi people. I don't know if war is the answer, but I know Saddam should have been eliminated. I personally am tired of the U.S. as you call it being the "World Police". But believe me your country benefits the reaps of the U.S., policing the world more than it hurts you. Yes, that's why they were bombed. You got it, let's blame the U.S. Did you know that Blair and Bush went to each soldiers house and held a gun to their head. They were ordered either fight or were going to kill your family. The Americans and Brits had no choice, sad to say.

Those sweet breakfasts of my university times will always remain special. Sometimes we used to go to some friends, especially at weekends, for breakfast, picking up few newspapers to read after the breakfast and some loafs of fresh bread on the way home. Still sometimes we would receive some friends to have breakfast in our small, moist but lovely home. From the process to prepare breakfast to the finishing the newspapers - every single moment of our breakfast, with company of music, would get joyful and we all would enjoy a lot - laughing, talking, listening to music, sometimes discussing during the breakfast. And then, having had breakfats, it would come to read the newspaper, while drinking our "for-pleasure" tea. Then it would already be noon; and neither me nor my homemates would be in hurry to wash the dishes, and we all together would take a walk. Where? Ah, we would go to whereever we wish, we were happy after all.

Pagliaccio you seem really nice now that you are not talking about violating women or being a disgust creature! Breakfast has always been my favorite, especially Turkish breakfast. I always stuff myself full of the tomatoes, cucumbers and cheese! What are the egg and potato? souflee fried type things...those are awesome! I found a Turkish man who loves to cook and is quite good at it...YAY!I can't wait until I am married to start cooking together with someone again. Being single my breakfast might be a piece of cinnamon toast or a frozen breakfast burrito. OR sometimes...embarrassing but true...the American staple peanut-butter and jelly!

A nice, relatively rich and peaceful Sunday breakfast with accompaniment the animated cartoon Sponge Bob Square Pants on TV! Happy is me!

I watched Sponge Bob Squarepants in Turkish. I never actually 'watched' it before! I almost picked my brother in law up a "Patrick" keychain but didn't know if they knew who he was...darn! I love scrambled eggs with onions and green peppers, I didn't think that would be considered Turkish. Add some Mexican Salsa though...ohhhh good!

The Nickleodeon cartoons just don't translate well into turkish. Too much of the humor is American subculture, so its just not as funny..

This goes for a lot of things in all languages. It's very true. And it must be a pain for translators

Bran flakes in yoghurt. Yum!  I prefer cereal in yoghurt rather than milk.

Something delicious that gives energy well into the day:

1 banana blended with plain yoghurt and milk . . . it´s quick to make too
