Forget last night

Trying to forget the pains I cause

If he only knew

About the secrets I keep

Drowning, trapped

In my own mistakes

I can’t get out

Trying to feel

Looking in all the wrong places

To fulfil some need

Loosing myself all the time

To momentary highs

Always followed by a crash

Falling like I’m in some kind of horrible wonderland

Searching for a way out of this hole

Finding solace in different arms

Unsatisfied by the love I have

For something to fulfil the emptiness I feel deep inside

A few lines

I have always listened to my heart since the beginning

I have always went on the path myheart told me, without thinking the end

My feelings never ever misled me

I do trust them without hesitation

I hit the walls sometimes or fell off

But I always manage to straighten up

trusting something like a hard rock

Like a branch of a tree, you get hold on when falling

My sentiments take me to open seas

I get frightened to be there all alone

If something takes you away from me

I dont know what I do by myself

A few lines, a few words I have penned

You are the only one to understand me

Two drops of tear never dissapear from my eyes

Please, dont let Cenk to be frightened anymore

Here is one I wrote a long time ago, inspired by a photo I took of along a beach, and how someone might feel after a broken relationship.........

I walk along the shore

With the sand between my toes

And the ocean washing over my feet

I no longer hold your hand

Or feel your breath

You are no longer beside me

The warmth of your body gone

I am alone with the wind blowing in my face

Telling me, my heart has been ripped

Torn to shreds with your harsh words

Like the seaweed that is beaten by the sea

Tears on my cheeks mix with the rain

As I walk I don’t know where to go

I wander forever with no thought

And I will wait forever for peace
