I suggest you to read these books to gain information about new Turkiye from British writers. It will be interesting to look at the country and the nation from a different angle.

The Turks Today By Andrew Mango
The New Turkey- The quiet revolution on the edge of Europe By Chriss Morris.

Then we can talk about he information given.

i read ''BOZKURT''that's telling Ataturk's life...and i read few telling Ottoman's society, culture and lifestyle...im really impressed with the point of view they look us...they know us better than ourselves...and they can be neutral to the events...to get a different point of view,to get the foreigners ideas and belief about turkey and turks reading foreign writers is great..also andrew mango among the writers who know us well..
