I am looking to eventually rent a cheap apartment in Istanbul (preferably in the Taksim area) for about a month. I was looking into Holiday aprtments but some of them are to expensive for me. Is Taksim just too expensive? I was wondering if anyone knows of any aprtment complexes or even houses that are at least semi-cheap. I don't mind rooming with someone. Thanks
--I apologize if this is a repeat!!

To be honest in the clean districts of Taksim and Cihangir, it is quite expensive to rent a flat for a month or so...
There are some options you might find throug internet...
i have looked once and they are about 700 euros or something like that... there was a really good one in Galata district... Galata Residence i think... it was quite cheap to the quality it serves and there was a great restaurant at top of it...
But to be able to make a research we need to know what does cheap mean to you for one month
