this thread was because i missed music at late hours.
being me, as i am.
you are welcome kushum benim. free to choose after your wish always. this is my present for you.
i did not know.
it definitely should be spread as heritage. no one should ever forget dancing, whirling or flying.
i wish i could contribute also.
sometimes touching on shoulders does good, to.
what i cannot do, is touching my own shoulders.

Good morning porto))
served 2 coffees, one for you..and some rose poems..let's read together...))

The Rose Family

The rose is a rose,
And was always a rose.
But the theory now goes
That the apple's a rose,
And the pear is, and so's
The plum, I suppose.
The dear only knows
What will next prove a rose.
You, of course, are a rose -
But were always a rose.

Robert Frost

Ten Roses

For every tear you cry,
I cry a hundred thousand more,

I'll give you ten roses,
For everything you're fighting for.

The first will be a red rose,
For courage and for health,

The second a bright yellow rose,
For gaining all life's wealth,

The third will be a soft pink rose,
So you may be happy in love,

The fourth will be a white rose,
Brought by a turtledove,

The fifth will be an orange rose,
To give you back your fire,

The sixth will be a deep pink rose,
So you may have what you desire,

The seventh will be a coral rose,
To gain you many friends,

The eighth will be a purple rose,
To guide you through life's bends,

The ninth will be a pale yellow rose,
To give you hope to try,

The tenth will be a black rose,
So you can mourn me when I die.

I have to leave my dearest friend,
But may the roses last you til my end,

I'm sorry I could not say goodbye,
Though ten roses I leave by your side.

I leave you with a kiss,
Along with these rose flowers,

I know I will be missed,
But I pray the roses will give you power,

Power to go on my love,
Power to be strong,

Power to get over me,
And let your life carry on

Ruth warren

Precious Rose

Precious Rose

I give you this rose to remind you of
My love, as each petal represents
The heartbeat my heart holds for you,
So take this rose, this precious rose
And hold it close to heart,
The fragrance of this rose be part of me,
This precious rose my heart.
As the children of this day be precious too,
Innocent as life just beginning to unfold,
Each petal represents a virtue
Beginning with love, tranquility
And serene happiness, the innocents,
of every child, . represented here.

Good morning porto))
served 2 coffees, one for you..and some rose poems..let's read together...))

The Rose Family

The rose is a rose,
And was always a rose.
But the theory now goes
That the apple's a rose,
And the pear is, and so's
The plum, I suppose.
The dear only knows
What will next prove a rose.
You, of course, are a rose -
But were always a rose.

Robert Frost

Ten Roses

For every tear you cry,
I cry a hundred thousand more,

I'll give you ten roses,
For everything you're fighting for.

The first will be a red rose,
For courage and for health,

The second a bright yellow rose,
For gaining all life's wealth,

The third will be a soft pink rose,
So you may be happy in love,

The fourth will be a white rose,
Brought by a turtledove,

The fifth will be an orange rose,
To give you back your fire,

The sixth will be a deep pink rose,
So you may have what you desire,

The seventh will be a coral rose,
To gain you many friends,

The eighth will be a purple rose,
To guide you through life's bends,

The ninth will be a pale yellow rose,
To give you hope to try,

The tenth will be a black rose,
So you can mourn me when I die.

I have to leave my dearest friend,
But may the roses last you til my end,

I'm sorry I could not say goodbye,
Though ten roses I leave by your side.

I leave you with a kiss,
Along with these rose flowers,

I know I will be missed,
But I pray the roses will give you power,

Power to go on my love,
Power to be strong,

Power to get over me,
And let your life carry on

Ruth warren

Precious Rose

Precious Rose

I give you this rose to remind you of
My love, as each petal represents
The heartbeat my heart holds for you,
So take this rose, this precious rose
And hold it close to heart,
The fragrance of this rose be part of me,
This precious rose my heart.
As the children of this day be precious too,
Innocent as life just beginning to unfold,
Each petal represents a virtue
Beginning with love, tranquility
And serene happiness, the innocents,
of every child, . represented here.

Can I spoil this thread a bit
just a poem which for Spanish 7 year old kids is like a song...the top 20 hit
it is really too late for classes with them....

When I Was a Baby

by Bruce Lansky

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
When I was a baby, I burped a good deal,
most often just after a rather good meal.

I burped after carrots. I burped after peas.
I burped after crackers. I burped after cheese.

Whenever I burped, it was quite a sensation.
My mother applauded my brilliant creation.

She oohed and she aahed. She clucked and she cooed.
But now when I burp mother shouts, “YOU’RE SO RUDE!!!”
