Mainly uneducated taxi, dolmus and truck drivers have a very philosophical approach to driving: "Allah decides on everything, hence why should I worry to drive reasonably." That is Turks all drive fully believing that whatever they do "Allah" will protect them. And you "non-Muslims" are ill fated!

Well, I am a male driver and I drive way too slowly and I don't know anyone of the tricks pros boast of. Nevertheless, I have not got involved in a single accident so far.

Slow drivers always say they never had an accident. What they don't realise is that they cause MANY! Drivers get so frustrated stuck behind them that they take any risk to get past!
