I am not sure nargile is a good idea, nor tavla.
Turkish cooking is a good idea and so as raki. why dont you buy an ipod with some turkish music in it. You play it too during dinner.

Are you in the uk and in the north btw?
Because, if you are, a day in london with everything Turkish should make him happy.. I am asking and interested, because it made me remember my early days in the UK..
I was so so desperate for anything Turkish. And it is really not easy!!

Yes thats a good idea, you can go down to London for a couple of days. There are so some really nice Turkish restaurants there so i have heard, probably because there is quite a few Turkish people.Hope this helps! It it difficult getting things that are traditionally Turkish especially when you don't want it to be something just because its Turkish, he has to like it as well.Maybe you could find out what his favourite dishes are and cook those as an alternative.
