My advice is a little different:

When my husband misses his homeland...the last thing I would do is remind him of it. If your boyfriend plans to stay in your country for any amount of time, he needs to learn how to divert his attention from the past and concentrate on the present. Right now he is with you in England....let him know how much you love him being in England. Show him some things that are good about England. Its better than wishing you were somewhere else.

This is a no no option..You may loose your bf if you follow this advice.
He will see nothing nothing good about england while he is homesick.
Consider my last option seriously

He does love england, hes been here for 6 years or so now. he always says heshappy here and would only go back to tukey if something happened to his mum. he actually loves things that remind him of home, wierd as it sounds lol, friends suggested a copy of the karan or a turkish eye, not sure myself though but im completely bamboozled. x

HANDSOM!!! Belly dancing does not cure homesickness....or hairness...or nausea....or headaches....or back pain! Do you tell your poor wife all this?

I think the difference between your advice and my advice is very simple Elisabeth:
-you are "assuming" what your husband felt and giving advice.
-I am giving the advice because I know what he feels..
So stop arguing with me
