Ofcourse I hate Turks and Muslims. That´s way I´m doing my best to learn Turkish, so I can scream at them at their own language. I also beat all the Turkish "friends" and "family" that I have with a stick when I see them... Oh I can´t wait to have my Turkish babies so I can start beating them too!

As a Dutch person I know enough about what happened. It was Dutch UN troops that were outnumbered that day, and came into the strange and utterly disgraceful position that will hunt our nation forever. Hold your tongue next time. Just because you don´t agree with me doesn´t mean I´m uninformed. It just means my view is different than yours.

I agree with much of what you say but it´s not only about the EU talking to Muslim countries but European countries communicating with their own Muslim populations. Of course it´s a two way process and it is up to Muslim immigrants to interact with people of the country they have chosen to settle in.  It takes a great deal of work on both sides and there will always be those at either end of the continuum who will try to "put a spanner in the works".

I remember being shocked when war broke out in the former Yugoslavia.  I never visited there but I only ever knew it as a place where people went for a holiday, Summer and Winter holidays. It is was a sobering thought, that such an unspeakable event could happen relatively close to home, in a "picture postcard" place.  It made me less naive and more aware of the politics of the wider world.  It is something that must never be forgotten.

I think, The entire split of former Yugoslavia should be looked at from slightly different angle.  I think, that "part of Europe" was never considered as a real  part of Europe for years.

It is like east of Turkey or Kurds of Turkey.. They are part of Turkey but somehow is it is different. I think all those new nation states are part of EU but somehow different than the west of Europe..

Most of them had Ottoman experience for centuries; they were always seen a bit less developed; they are relatively new in the history; their democracy process is different; the way they become nation states were different.. Just 100 years ago they massacred each other and Turks..

I am not trying lessen the effect of thousands of muslims-men(or women children)  being butchered cowardly after surrendering in the middle of Europe of course..It is such a shame and that shame wont go off for years..

I AM informed, simply because being Dutch means we had may many MANY reports on why, and how this could happen. Do you think nobody investigated the horrible mistakes that were made there by the U.N.? Read before you talk.

About Yugoslavia being a part of Europe. In my opinion there is no Europe. It´s a fabricated thing. In the long history of this continent we had many wars amongst eachother. I don´t feel like the people from Yugoslavia were my European brothers and sisters, but I don´t feel that kind of connection with people from Italy either. The only connection I felt was a human connection when I saw the suffering on tv, but it has nothing to do with Europe.

Opposite, they love everyone and everything.

Don´t worry Lemon, I detect the condescending manner here.  But that´s OK.  I´m the first to admit I´m a lightweight when it comes to European politics. I know that in recent decades the UK has had it "easy" compared to some.  This is the point I was trying to make when I mentioned what happened to the former Yugoslavia.

But I don´t love everyone {#emotions_dlg.wtf}  (actually . . . come to think of it I DO love everyone {#emotions_dlg.flowers} "I love you all" )

And Janis . . .

Facts are great but not instead of opinion.  I don´t have to regurgitate facts in order to say how horrendous I believe an action or event to be. I don´t care that my opinions are simple (drat I´m making myself sound like a simpleton . . .)  I´m not trying to prove anything.  If I say "You are muck!" shall I back that up with facts about what constitutes muck?

If you don´t understand what I´m saying . . . tough, I can live with it.

People are entitled to express their opinions and another opinion of mine is you are being arrogant and a bully this evening.  (You can find the evidence in your posts but if you want a more in depth analysis I suggest you visit thehandsom´s couch.)

Now go and stand in the corner {#emotions_dlg.rant}

civilised EU .........civilised EU .........civilised EU .........civilised EU .........civilised EU .........civilised EU ......... they all are modern when they talk to muslims(?).

If this is a criticism of the EU and you are having "a dig" at them for their negative approach, then I agree with you.

Perhaps I shall keep to the simple option of clicking the "like" button instead of supporting in my own words.  That way there will be no ambiguity.

(Thinks . . . but then I will be known as a member of the Clicker Club . . . sometimes you just can´t win . . . I love everyone . . . I love everyone . . . I love everyone . . . I love everyone . . . I love Ja . . . ahem . . . I love everyone)

It seems there are a lot of French students that pay for university and rent through prostitution. 40.000 students are in the prostitution, with the majority being women. That´s 1 in every 57 students!!! Shocking.

Iran issues list of approved Muslim hairstyles for men

Iran is set to order a crackdown on men sporting ´un-Islamic´ haircuts.

Long hair and ponytails are definitely out this summer - though a dab of gel is acceptable, according to the country´s morality police.

I see no wrong in this. I prefer when people have calm and modest style both of hair and clothing.
