I dont believe that money brings happiness - just more comfort (and maybe a bit less stress!).

I believe we all have equal amounts of happiness and sadness - it has nothing to do with wealth. A poor child in Africa may experience the same joy from being given a football as a rich US kid might have from receiving an expensive XBox. Even at our most desperate times, we still seem to have equal amounts of sadness and happiness.

I also think that you appreciate the things you buy more if you had to work hard to pay for them!!

I don't know that money brings happiness, but it sure helps. But I also view things as instant gratifications. You buy a new car excited to drive it and after awhile the newness wears off. You go on a shopping spree, love the new cloths you have then after awhile they sit in your closet.

But then you have people like Britney Spears and other hollywood celebrities who have so much money they don't know what to do with it. They live a self destructive life and have all the money in the world, yet they still don't have happiness.

I think you have to find happiness from with in, I don't believe people or material things can buy you happiness. That's just my personal thoughts.
