Does Money Bring Happiness?

Money is an object. It has no good or bad qualities itself. It is what you do with money that can make you happy or not. Money itself may give you happiness only if you like putting coins or notes on/into your body. Otherwise it does not stimulate you.
I disagree that money can't give you happiness. If you are a positive person with a sensible approach to life the ...why not? Having money doesn't mean that you no longer are able to appreciate life. Having money doesn't mean that you cannot love or be loved.
The only threat about money is that some people are obsessed with it. And some others will be unhappy regardless of whether rich or poor. That's the human nature. Some of us can't be pleased.

Yes, when I am sad, I love to buy really expensive ice cream....it makes me happy! ( I love Ben and Jerry's Phish Food but it's about $5 per container....very small container!!)

I don't think money bring happiness at all. I've known some fabulously wealthy people, and they did not have happy lives.
They were always pursued by gold diggers and people not interested in them for themselves, but rather what they could gain monetarily from knowing them. It made it difficult to have "real" relationships.
Read about these people and then ask yourself about how happy money will make you.
