Hi all,
I have had an interesting e-mail of my wife about the website equivelant of e-bay in Turkey. She told me that a few of her male friends have a foot fetish and that this fetish is quite common amongst men in Turkey. A few of her friends have sold their old shoes on this website and have had many sales including interest from the U.K. also.

A friend of hers regularly sells her shoes and has never failed to make a sale, shoes that she no longer wants, I know there is interest in England in this also just by looking at e-bay, I am sure Nesrin will try this herself she is very shrewd when it comes to office gossip

I can see a huge business opportunity in this!!
Do you need a partner?
Here is my idea:
I will go and get many used shoes from oxfam very cheaply and send them to you in turkey.
All you have to do is, shave your leg ; polish your toes with red ; try to fit your foot into one of the shoes ; take a picture and upload to that website..
We can be millioners very soon..lol

ps..I patented this idea btw..

I know someone who sold a bag of odd socks on UK Ebay and then got emails from people who wondered if they had any photos of themselves in the odd socks! Only can say ODD PEOPLE!

I think its true this foot fetish thing amongst Turkish men, does anyone else think so? They are kind of obsessed about nail polish as well, however thats not just on the feet and this does also seem to be a cultural thing.Lots of women both 'normal' women and celebrities have their fingers and toes painted red.As Handsom has already suggested! what do you all think or am i finding something there that doesnt exist??

I, for one, get a pedicure once every 2 weeks which includes polishing. My husband loves when my toenails are polished and look pretty. I don't think its a fetish but but just a little detail about me that he appreciates. (I don't think many women in his village go for pedicures.)

Yes i know what your saying, there is a culture in Turkey about making yourself look beautiful and for lots of women this involves having regular pedicures and manicures.I am not saying this is a bad thing i was just wondering if anyone else had noticed it.Maybe its not a fetish but i have known people in the past who did have them. The colour red also seems to be the firm favourite.
