Quoting QUASIMODO: Quoting aenigma x: :
I wont be asking Admin to delete my account because if I come back one day in the future, I dont want to make gain as many 'come back' nicknames as other members here! |
Hey! Run not away! Come back here-at once! So, you mean I have made gain three 'come back' nicknames, eh? And by that, what point do you intend to arrive? You would much pay for this lampoon, if I... if I didn't feel right now so sorry as if I had lost a true friend of mine! (Why am I ready to cry now?) |
Come on AE, enough of this 'show-me-how-much-you-miss-me' bollox for weenies. Come back NOW!

Quoting lady in red: But being deleted doesn't mean you're DEAD! Anyone can come back whenever they want to - after all the spammers do it all the time!!
It's Aenigma's choice - but remember this Aenigma:
"Inside of us, we all know you belong with Turkish Class. You're part of it's work, the thing that keeps it going. If this site goes on and you're not with it, you'll regret it. Maybe not today. Maybe not tomorrow, but soon and for the rest of your life."
Think about it!!

whoever said of anyone being DEAD? I'm aware that people who are deleted, whether by request or not, can come back anytime they want. And it is true that it is Aenigma's choice if she wants to be deleted. I was just posting my own opinion about the matter, just like everyone else here does.
question... if she wants to be deleted, then is it necessary to make a petition for her NOT to be deleted? Was she informed about this petition beforehand?
IF it is Aenigma's choice to be deleted, then no petition should be necessary for making her account available in Turkish class. It contradicts and disrespects her own wishes to have her own account deleted.

if she wants to be deleted, then let the admin delete her account. it's what she wants. and if she decides to come back, i'm sure she'll make another one. let her have what she wants. just like lady in red said it's "AENIGMA'S CHOICE".

Here:
Quoting AEnigma III: Its no problem if you want to keep my account open or delete it - either way is fine. I just wont be around much anymore so thought it was easier to delete it! |

One essential issue of being deleted is it's impossible to follow the thread of a particular members posts. IOW, if you see an intersting post by xxx and you want to read more of what they have posted, if they have been deleted, you can't.

Actually all the posts are there, they are not deleted. You just lose the links to them. So why delete?
Some other sites do not delete any member but suspend only (to maintain a consistent database state -- and you know what they can be enabled later if the admin accepts). So they cannot login and post anything but their profiles are kept.
Can admin do such a thing?
