I've been in Rome for the last 5 days....Right now i am homesick...I miss my flat in Besiktas, Istanbul....i can't believe how much i want to go home. I only have two more nights here...Italians...don't get me wrong...it's a great country but my heart is in Istanbul!

Tired but satisfied. We had an open day, a kermes, at my work. We were open from 0900-1800, I informed people about our educational work and sold some books, after that I walked around in the classrooms that were now emptied out, where women were making fresh lahmacun and gözleme, I bought two beautiful silk headscarfs which I will use as shawl or tie around my neck like a tie, there was Turkish music, adana kebap, döner kebap and kuzu şiş (apart from the canteen which was filled with all sorts of hamur işleri that the women had made). As spokesman I talked to the radio and I hope many people have listened so that tomorrow even more people will attend!
Isnt this a nice way of making money!
