Quoting adonis: this post proves your inadequacy of Turkish. thanx..
that sentence means: "Stand out of my sunlight" |
And this shows your inadequacy of English, because that is not how one would say it in English. I think we would say 'to bother someone'. Not really to stand in ones sunlight. Actually, maybe in edebiyat or something we would say that. But in generally that sentence means All I ask from you is, dont bother me. Are you that shiny then?

Anyway, goodnight Adonis. This lady wont be bothered to continue this useless conversation, cuz there is just no pleasing you. I'm sorry I do not worship Atatürk and that therefore every response to your posts will feel to you as if I am bothering you.
Thanx

Quoting alameda: As I said earlier, the purpose of satire is to provoke, however an artist needs to know how to not cross the line from being just a frontal attack on others belief system.
If you want to provoke, you shoud be aware of just what you are provoking, or be ready for the consquenses. Doing it any other way is irresponsible, don't you think? |
Sometimes it also shows how primitive a group is by seeing how they respond to criticism. It is healthy to criticize beliefs/people/countries... etc, it is unhealthy when you can't handle that criticism in a mature way.
The problem begins when a certain group only functions because any sort of questioning is punishable sometimes by death, sometimes by prison and social condemnation... I think we saw the true face of islam by the reactions of muslims to the danish cartoons. It was not a pretty picture

Well said Cat! The Danish Cartoon was not meant to insult Islam but, as I understood it, aimed at pointing out the fact that Islam is used as an excuse for suicide bombers. Ergo, criticized the distorted Islam that some fanatic people believe in. All the Muslims whose opinions were heard on this site told us Islam is against killing. So suicide bombers are not true Muslims to me, only do the bad press to the true ones and that's what I read from these cartoons.

So your reaction was a personal one, eh?
Canım, if you give your opinion on a public forum like this, you must be prepared and aware of the fact that there are always gonna be people who either agree or disagree with you. If you don't need it, then don't post your opinion.

This sentence of u clearly proves that you are worshipping something or somebody (not Atatürk of course). so you digress the quarrel between us, using Atatürk himself.
it's your incapability of making a discussion with me, not mine.
go on your showing double standarts, I don't care..

Quoting adonis: I don't care.. |
I never said I didn't care. If I really didn't care, I would not reply to any of your insulting posts. Especially your thougths about homosexuality are so backwards.
But you keep saying you don't care. Yet you keep replying to all I say.
Where does that post show I worship something? It clearly says I dont worship Atatürk, but it doesnt mention me worshipping something else? Anyway since you don't care, I bet you won't answer me
