I was watching the news today and I came across to this term. The news said Turkey will be in the SIA list and that will mean all the Turks will be suspected as terrorists until otherwise proven.

I researched this information and cannot find where Turkey is listed. Could you direct me to where you found this? Also, they are not listed on the state site as a travel alert.
Countries of Interest, such as those the State Department considers sponsors of terrorism (Cuba, Iran, Libya, North Korea, Sudan, Syria) and others where militant Islam simmers (Afghanistan, Egypt, Indonesia, Iraq, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, and Yemen).

I only heard it on the news yesterday. If the list doesn't include Turkey (yet), I guess it will include it soon (I guess the news was about it).
Edit:
here's a link

This list appears to be of countries who the U.S. takes extra steps in security measures. I think there is some exaggeration that Si was stating that Turks are found to be terrorists until proven other wise. It just means the U.S. is taking on additional steps to ensure aliens who come into the U.S. have the proper documentation and reasons for being here.
What I found about Brazil & Argentina on the state gov site is some sort of explanation.
Ties to criminal entities operate along the tri-border area of Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay. These organizations are involved in the trafficking of illicit goods; some individuals in the area are financially supporting designated foreign terrorist organizations. Colombian Terrorist groups have been known to operate in the border areas of neighboring countries.

I know from personal experience that the security clearances for Turkish males between the ages of 17 and 60 are so lengthy that it took my husband over one year to get processed to come to the US. Its the most ridiculous thing....everyone in the US is fed up with illegal immigration but NOBODY wants to talk about the nightmare of Legal Immigration. It is shameful that we treat people this way!! It doesn't take 12 months to do a security check....I don't care how many systems it has to go thru!!
