Here's the voice of a hillbilly raised Catholic in a homogeneous Polish society. We've never had problems with gays - if there were some, we wouldn't hear about them until early 90s. We've never had any problems with other races - there were some dark-skinned people at universities in big cities but we talked about them as often as we'd talk about wild animals in the zoo. So we lived happily in our tolerant, open-minded society until the aforementioned 90s.

Suddenly gay people started to appear out of nowhere and we blamed the 'evil' west for this kinky fad. To our surprise, the fad turned out not a fad and no matter how our government would criticise gay people in the media, and how much they'd ban gay protests and demonstrations, gays didn't give up and become 'normal and natural' the only Godly way. (BTW I think Poland is one of the few countries where president can call homosexuality aberration and not be sued for that).

I don't think anyone chooses to be gay or straight, although that's the theory some people circulate. I don't perceive it as a disease either and rehab-camps for gays that I've heard of are appalling. I had one bisexual friend at the uni. Once he organised his birthday in a gay club. I couldn't stay there longer than 30 min because the sight of guys cuddling guys was making me sick. But this is just my personal feeling, I'd never dare to claim that gay people should be discriminated.

I don't really get this 'natural/unnatural' argument used for criticising transsexual people. How much of this world is natural? If people are happier having become a different gender, what's wrong with that? Silicone boobs are no more natural than a rubber dong, still no "God Warriors" boycott them, do they? Of course there may are things unacceptable for us, but it doesn't give us the right to decide what is best for others. Transsexual people are no threat to society, just as gay people. Still, I'm quite against gay people adopting children. Not because I think children raised by gay people would be gay (this would mean that children raised by heterosexuals are straight) but because I find our societies unprepared for that. Children of gay couples may be a laughing stock for their peers which may have negative impact on them.

I totally agree with you, except for the last bit Maybe it changes from country to country, so tehre you could have a point, but recent studies in the Netherlands have shown that having homosexual parents does not influence the children.

I have 2 gay and one lesbian friend, and actually they are my closest friends. We know each other since we were only about 4 years old. And I can say that at the end of their primary education (at the age of 12 here), it started to become clear that these friends were 'heading towards homosexuality'. It is often heard that homosexual people already felt 'there was soemthing different' about them, in their young ages.. I dont think that in most cases it is just being bored or disappointed in the other sex. I dont think a man who cheats on you creates the curiosity to eat *****. Sorry to say so..

I don't think there is anything wrong with changing your gender. I dont remember the name, but there is an illness where babies (or actually their parents?) can 'choose' which gender they will 'become'. This may mean that a baby has a penis, but in the future may develop breasts as well. Or it has a vagina, but that in the future, the body may start to produce a lower voice, the bodybuilding of a man and facial hair. Such a person has to take medicine all their life, otherwise suddenly the male hormons in the female body will become too strong. I cant remember exactly what the name of this illness is, but I remember that a girl in my highschool had it. When she was at the age of, lets say 16, she was asked by the doctors if she wanted to go on taking 'female medicines' for the rest of their lives, or if she preferred 'the man inside' her, and wanted a transgender operation.

Pregnant Man in US

I would not call this person either male or female. They obviously have both gender attributes. This condition is called a

Intersex person.

That is, they have both genders in one body.

This condition is becoming more prevelent with the increase in Endocrine Disruptors in our enviornment.

Gender Benders

'Some Health Consequences of DES

DES Daughters

Deformed uteruses, fallopian tubes, and ovaries
Lowered egg production
Higher rates of infertility, ectopic pregnancies, miscarriages, and premature babies
Higher rates of endometriosis, uterine tumors, breast tumors, and pituitary tumors
Increased frequency of ovarian cysts and abnormal follicles  Immune system problems
Abnormal glucose tolerance and glucose utilization
Abnormal development of gender-specific sexual behavior in DES offspring (feminized males and masculinized females), suggesting that DES caused abnormal sex differentiation during fetal development

DES Sons

Increased genital defects, undescended testicles, and stunted testicles and penises
Low sperm counts, abnormal sperm, and reduced fertility
Higher rates of testicular cancer at earlier ages
Immune system problems
Abnormal glucose tolerance and glucose utilization
Abnormal development of male sexual behavior'

Additionaly this person could be a

Chimera

'...the chimera is formed from the merger of two fraternal twins in a very early (zygote or blastocyst) phase. As such, they can be male, female, or hermaphroditic'

That is when twins do not separate and are fused into one body. When the twins are both male and female a condition such as this can happen. Again, this is a condition that was formerly not well known, but with the increase in IVF, it is increasing.

Lydia Fairchild

is a well documented case of a chimera.

Actually this person is still a female who has been undergoing gender reorganistion, but yet to complete the transistion and still has female reproductive organs that work. His / her girlfriend artificially insemintated him / her with sperm they bought off the internet using a syringe.

Sorry if you eating or about to eat dinner! Mind boggling don't you think?

Basically it is a con! The man is still a woman inside, but looks like a man on the outside! Does that make sense?

That's why I prefer abiding by the thought that there is no "him" or "his plan"
