Quoting lady in red:

Umut is a very good young friend of mine on TC who has helped me a lot with my attempt to learn Turkish.

He is due to start his Army service at the end of this week and I would like to wish him the very best of luck and a safe return home at the end of it. I think we will miss him here on TC and hopefully it won't be too long before he is back with us again.

Iyi şanslar Umut!

This is a very nice sentiment! There are others that have gone off to national service without a word, and we should also wish them safe return home. All of us TC members that have sons of the age of national service in Turkey, it must be heart breaking to see them go, but with immense pride at the same time. Good luck to all you young men of Turkey that are about to take up your army place.
