I wonder if someone can solve a mystery.

I had not realised until today that a members post archive can be viewed by clicking on their name in the deleted list. However, there seems to be some inconsistencies because not all deleted members' post archive can be viewed. It doesn't seem to be related to whether the deletion was enforced or at user's request either. In fact in Alper's case, his full profile can still be seen.

Any ideas?

Well, that's probably why because this facility is quite new - only been there for a couple of weeks. In the case of Alper - I noticed he was logged in last night so I'm not sure why his name is appearing on the deleted list!

Thanks LIR, but there is inconsistency all the way down the list. Anyway, it's a good idea to keep the archive in this way.

There are two users with the nickname Alper on the website (Alper and alper). Alper is one of our language teachers who volunteered to add lessons to the website and he is still an active user. alper was an old, unused account and I deleted it from the lists to fix the inconsistency.

Forum messages of deleted users have always been stored. We don't delete all forum messages of a deleted user because this would cause lots of inconsistencies in the forums. The only new feature is the link to the deleted users' forum messages. This link will work only for users who were deleted after this feature was added. However, I manually linked the names of some previously-deleted users to their forum posts mainly because they have contributed to the website with a lot of posts and people might be interested in seeing their posts.

On a similar note - why is it that against some users' names it will say they have - for example - 1472 posts but when you look at that person's posts only maybe a couple of pages are visible? I can't remember the particular members' names now but I have noticed this a few times.

If you send me a link to an account that has this problem, I will take a look at it. It's hard to know what the problem is without seeing it.

I noticed that on a couple of occasions.
