How is done hernia medical treatment?Is surgical operation advised or not?If someone has any idea about hernia,I will be pleased..thnx...

hi...i'm a medical student and from my knowledge it depends on the location of the hernia and the age of the patient...but for the most part it is recommended to have surgery...it is usual a one day surgery, you have it in the morning and in the afternoon you can go home. its not a "big" procedure, so you have nothing to worry about. take care

Operetion was done yesterday but I am wawy from home and I dont know if my mom will feel better or not..how many months she need for becoming better after operation?

i am glad your mother is coming home from hospital. Her recovery depends on her age,where the hernia was and what procedure was use to do the repair. Most people make a full recovery within 6 weeks.Best wishes for her speedy recovery

Every mom is very special with her son|girl..be sure..Also it changes from people to people..I lived with my family up to now(I am 26 yo)so maybe I am interested in with my family much more some other people..dont know..
