Quoting uzeyir:

You are the last person who can be offended That profession was just an example and I still stand by what I said.Although it doesn't suit,I think it does If people had been more considerable,I'd have been more considerable though. We don't have to think in the same way like we aren't interested in the same things.

I wasn't offended. And your post wouldn't have been offending and arrogant if you hadn't said '3rd class' (it doesn't matter what profession you say, it's the 3 class part that makes it offensive) and 'social polish'. Your post shows you look down on people who are not highly educated or without manners that you consider to be of 'high culture'. You may stand with what you said, but that is really shame on you!

My husband was in the building trade and I wasn't offended by Uzeyir's post - really didn't bother me .

I was more offended by this comment made in January by a Turkish tc member: 'You need to know at least three languages as a really cultured person in this life...' - which would imply that around 98% of Great Britain are 'really uncultured' when the truth is most of us are just too damn lazy to bother because the whole world speaks English lol

If you're talking to Ãœzye, you should say bovered

I wasn't offended either, I was more saying he should be more careful about putting the things the way he put them.. I know he never intended to say such a thing, but he said it anyway. That was my entire point

And I remember that useless post too But I wasnt offended I was very flattered to be highly cultured lol lol

I know you don't want to offend anyone, but your message is rather 'upperclass-haughty' and it doesn't suit you!

I was not offended either - my post was a "tongue in cheek" response, but if only I could understand your last post about people being considerate!! Who has been inconsiderate?

I think he is referring to the post which states that Bursa isn't anything interesting apart from Uludağ. That clearly was his weak spot, being born and raised in the first capital of the Ottoman Empire But, he is right. Bursa needs to get more credit!

I see, but an opinion of somewhere is not really being inconsiderate.

That`s nice. It was me who was being inconsiderate if Delikizin is right. That`s quite true indeed, besides Uzeyir is an aristocrat who has grown up in the Bursa palace, so it`s normal for him to trash building contractors` wives.

I'm always right

See Ãœzye, this is why you have to pick your words more carefully
