Why should Turks be offended by people laughing at con artists? I believe they get ashamed by the fact that there are Turks abusing women. There's nothing wrong about joking at those guys. Too bad I can't chip in as I have no experience with Dudus - apparently resort workers have a thing for Brits or Americans only

I agree with Daydreamer. If I were a Turk, I would be ashamed of some of my people who behave this way. Nothing wrong with joking about it really.

But I might add that I don't really agree with you Catwoman, about the abuse of women. You may be right, and ofcourse it is not normal to ask for such high amounts of money etc etc we know the story. But I bet that quite a lot of these women let them take advantage of them.. There's always exceptions and everything, but you must be really stupid to send money, laptops, phones, pay hospital bills, of a guy who doesnt even speak your language, and has decided in 2 weeks that he loves you. The acts of the dudus are no doubt shameful, but most of the women have got to blame themselves too.

I think the acts of both the dudus and the ladies is at the very least irresponsible....and I don't think that only Turkish men behave this way. There are plenty of dudus in every country.

It's funny you know because I now always refer to the bar and boat boys here as dudus and no-one has the slightest idea what I'm talking about lol.

And I have to just add that it's all true about the way 90% of them behave but it is very much supply and demand. with the older women who seem happy to part with the cash in exchange for the 'attention' from a handsome young man. It's the younger, naive and, in the end often pregnant, girls I feel sorry for.

Well, I am going to go ahead and recommend thehandsom as a dudu...although he may qualify as slighty past his sell date. I have only had to send him one iphone and he moved right on to Daydreamer. Once he gets his laptop from her, I am sure he will move right to DK. I believe he got his training from the late, great femme...who wrote the book on dudus.
