I agree with you Teas! it is amazing to see all the things that can be done "in the name of love"

Especially done by women, because we are repeatedly told that the measure of our success is 'finding a good husband!!!'

I am not talking about every Turkish man is trustful. In fact men lie, women lie too. Women sometimes are good at telling lies, some marry to rich men for money also.

You have to come and live in Turkey for maybe 5 years to really know how Turkish people are like. It's very different when you come here for one week holiday then find a man you like and 5 days later you say you are in love. Then maybe one week or more later, both leave because of problems, money, or cheating. So you will think of all Turkish people are bad like that. I don't agree that because you are not really living in Turkey.

Life is like this, most people will not show their real face to others. Sometimes small lies without hurting others are like salt and pepper. Life is also a luck, when you can find your prince or princess that you really love.

In this case, I saw the pictures, they are 2 very different people. I don't believe the man really love the woman. I don't mean the appearance, but I look into the man's eyes, just my 6th feeling that he does not love the woman. He loves just the money, I think.

IT might be as well, the chances that a foreign woman falls in the hands of men who want to profit is much higher than the local women. And their chances to meet "proper local men" are less because they are usually in those places where they are surrounded by the kind of men that want to profit them. I see tourists a bit like children when they're in a new country, and they're more easily trapped and fooled.

Very well put. It can just as well happen to men as to women, but it would take longer to discover in that case. The fact of the matter is when people are on vacation, they often take vacation of their normal mental/emotional state as well.
