Hilal Isler was a Turkish professor at Skidmore University,NY. After her complaints about a case of religious hatred she encountered had publicized, she resigned from her position in the university because of the pressure by the public and the possible criticism of the university trustees.

Now, that`s not much of a news, but the reaction it got from the Americans deserves a look.

Appalling display of racism! I bet that blonde joke was quite appalling as well.. The guy was fired very rightly so.

It's just another example of ignorance. People connect terrorism with Muslims and there is a reason for it, unfortunately. Just like they connect blacks with crimes, because of statistics validate it.

Again the media doesn't show the outrage of Muslims who speak out against this behaviour. Which therefore people connect two and two. It's absolutely wrong, but that's how influential our media is here.

I wish people were more educated.

obviously lack of education with those posters has bred stupidity. but then again, stupid people should not be allowed to breed - what I read on those sites is an example of what happens when they do.
