Hi everyone!
I am going to Istanbul for a weekend and I dont know any hotels to stay. Could you recommend me something? I've heard about Sultan Ahmed area, but I dont know anything about it. So could you help me - please, near to airport and nice neighbourhood, because I will be there alone.
Best regards

If you want to see the life style of istanbul

you should stay close to Taksim area mostly-a friend of our family owns some hotels there-,
if you want to see the old istanbul part, blue mosque hagia sofia you have to choose sultanahmet area,

These are approximately 45 minutes distance to Airport.

But if you will use Istanbul Airport for transfer only, better choose airport hotel...
