When I click on open mini chat it doesnt open

Still having problems with messages. When I write a message for the forum part of what I write is cut off. It took 7 attempts to post a simple message. This time using IE 6.0.2xx

Is anyone else having this problem? I need some more details (steps followed to see the issue) to understand the problem.

How can you stop emails going to my inbox everytime I get a PM (My inbox is full  )

Go to your profile, click on "update profile", and uncheck the box where it says "send email notifications". Make sure to type your password before clicking "submit".

I had the little envelope telling me I had a new PM but when I clicked on my private messages there is nothing new there. 
I thought maybe I was hallucinating but thanks to our lovely new email notification I was able to prove my sanity.....I had an email saying that I had a new PM.
I checked again but...no new messages.

The email should have told you who the message is from and give you the first line of the message... Did the email not tell you that?
