We want to travel to Europe by plane from Istanbul for 6 days with our university group (7 friends) this August .
We would like to get your recommendation about country and city.
We have not been to Europe before.
May we ask?
We are to go to only one country and city.
what is the most important/beautiful country and city you have ever seen in Europe?

I´d suggest Krakow (Cracow) but since there´s no direct flight there from Istanbul, I highly recommend Prague - a beautiful city full of history and breathtaking views, not too expensive and provides for both sightseeing lovers and people who want to have some fun. Check out ´knedlicki´ and local beer!

Yes, very difficult question.

My friends prefer to go to
- Prague - Czech republic
- Cracow - Poland
- Vienna - Austria
- Seville and Granada - Spain
- Venice - Italy
My choice : London or Paris

as you know well -a Turkish proverb-
çok okuyan/yaşayan bilmez, çok gezen bilir =
He/she who travels far/much knows much - not he who lived long /educated much knows, but he who traveled much knows

I think the English translation of that should be:

´The well-read don´t understand life, the well travelled do´

and I highly recommend Paris for your visit.
