Quoting Elisabeth:

Actually I was serious. I would be a beginner level. I just need an approximate number of hours per week this will take as I am already taking several other classes.

This will not take a lot of time at all. It will be one lesson per week (or per two weeks, whatever the students prefer), there will be 10 lessons total (for the ´course´), and there will be a relatively short homework at the end of each lesson, that students will have one week to complete.

You can pick either beginner 1 (know nothing about Turkish), or beginner 2 (knows some basics).

As long as you promise not to post my test scores publicly, I would like to try. Beginner level.
Or sub-beginner?

Ok, sounds great, thank you for your interest. We will wait for a couple more days to give a chance to more people to join if they want and we will start...

I think catwoman should be a student too, for the reasons:
a- She should be an example for the class
b- I bet her turkish needs a serious polishing..

what is a sub-beginner? errrrrrm .. does it matter that I almost failed english two years in a row because of grammar? sigh .. but for whatever reason I always got 100% in french and understood its grammar.

It means I have been here two years and have been too distracted in forum and have barely learned more than a few words.

I think I have Attention Deficit Disorder....at least when it comes to TC!!

I was seriously about having interest! (Gosh, really no SOH?)

I like to start at beginner 1 even though I know a tiny piece of the grammar. But, I do have a serious other problem! As you know English is not my mother tongue and grammar rules in English are sometimes very different from those in Dutch. Sometimes I even don´t know the translation of the English grammar word. And I need to understand what I´m doing before I can use the rule myself, I found out when I tried before. So, I´m not sure if I can understand all the explanation. I bet I´m not the only one with this problem. How are you going to solve that? Will explanations be clear as water, or do you expect that we are familiar with the English names?
