Well, at 2,40€ (3,75$) a draft beer, that won´t last long, I´m afraid...

Here is Ireland? Yes, I was there in 1996 and even then it was a very expensive country. I´ll go to Japan again, a beer in a pub (canned, they hardly know drafts) costs only 1,50€!

Oh, my city, Lyon, is just above my home city Istanbul in the 28th place. From which market in İstanbul did they fill the basket, for me Lyon is much more expensive.

Actually that list does not seem very accurate based on what I know about US cities.

Here´s another one for the US.

Priciest places in the US

Although they say NYC is pricier than SF, I can say for a fact that SF is more expensive. The reason is because the public transportation is so bad, you have to have a car in the SF area to get around. I moved from NY to SF and my cost of living went up a tleast 400 %

But there is a 25% differential in CA for salary compensation. So even though the cost of living is high, employers pay at least 25% more. I still think all of CA is extremely high.
