With a leading drugstore in the UK launching it´s new range of cosmetics for men - including Manscara and Guyliner, I wondered what our male classmates think.

Will YOU be wearing it? (Bod need not reply )

Of course, if women are expected to wear it, then men should also be!!!! I´m glad the advertisers and capitalists thought it´s a lucrative area..

I have nothing against men wearing makeup as long as they´re not stealing my cosmetics and as long as they´re not my boyfriends

men used to wear eyeliner some 500 years ago, and it was so normal. Long hair and earrings were also "manly" things to have.

I actually really like it, and you are completely right that these ideas about what´s "feminine" and "masculine" are completely made up. I really like men and women who dare to challenge these stupid social conventions.

Well,
We are who we are (gorgeous, hairy , manly and jealousy is part of our charm), like it or not.

Jealousy is not charming. It is stifling, wearing and kills relationships. It is, more often than not, more about ownership than love.

Jealousy is such an easy emotion. Trust is much harder, and much more rewarding (Hairy or not )

Haha
But..
Perhaps love of necessity contains jealousy.
Marcel Proust also wrote of jealousy as a necessary concomitant of love and also introduced the concept "the necessity of jealousy for stroking the flames of desire".
Yaa!!

Actually,
The inspiration about the gorgeousness came from the user Kemale and her comments such as "I am gorgeous, my bf is gorgeous, my kitten is gorgeous, my mom is gorgeous, my bf´s eyes are gorgeous etc"
So why not call ourselves gorgeous?

So why should girls be able to wear makeup - and men not???

Perhaps we should start declaring that girls should be barred from wearing jeans as they are boy clothes!!!
