A few quotations I like

Freindship:
A faithful friend is the medicine of life

Side by side or miles apart, dear friends are always close to the heart

A real friend is someone who walks in when the rest of the world walks out

Friendship is a horizon which expands whenever we approach it

Most people walk in and out of your life. But only friends leave footprints in your heart

Some quotaitions with great meaning:
Live everyday like it's your last

Give a man a fish, feed him for a day. Teach a man how to fish, feed him for a lifetime.

You never really appreciate things until there gone.

The ones I definatly believe:

I have never let my schooling interfere with my education.
Mark Twain

Suffering cheerfully endured, ceases to be suffering and is transmuted into an ineffable joy.
Gandhi

As soon as we lose the moral basis, we cease to be religious. There is no such thing as religion over-riding morality. Man, for instance, cannot be untruthful, cruel or incontinent and claim to have God on his side.
Gandhi

The key word here is "even", which immediately cought my eyes! But, no, you haven't broken my heart as I got used your heartbreaking, despising, insulting words. By the way, I am as bitter as poison! Stay away from me!

I don't know how famous this is, but... ...

What is life? - this mysterious combination of merciless logic that doesn't serve anything. The only thing we can expect from it is some kind of knowledge about itself, knowledge that usually comes too late - result of unconsolable remorses.

Joseph Conrad
"The Heart of Darkness"

there's a polish saying "a hungry man has bread on his mind", which is meant to be extrapolated in this manner: e.g. "you hadn't experienced love, you think there is no love".
