Nine killed by landmine

In the Eastern province Erzincan a landmine killed nine Turkish soldiers. According to Ankara the mine has been placed there by members of the PKK.

I have a friend who is going into the army this evening. He is worried and i am sure this will make him even more so. My throught are with all the familes at this sad time
